Associate

Simone Watson is a freelance Executive Performance and Impact Coach, Associate Consultant and Creative & Corporate Facilitator with an extensive background in Theatre and the Performing Arts where she uses her background in performance impact to bring creative, experiential and interactive learning into the training room.

As a BRIT School alumni and having graduated in 2006 with a 1st Class BA HONS in Contemporary Performance Practice, Simone has recently worked with a number of award winning companies like EVERFI Edcoms, UnLtd and INVolve as an associate consultant, corporate trainer and creative facilitator and brings experience of working with clients from Executive Directors and Board Members to Graduate recruits, across a range of sectors in the areas of communication skills, organisational development, leadership and diversity and inclusion with a focus on anti-racism.

Previous clients include; British Army, NHS, Parker Hannifin, BT, CheckIT and Mercer.

Simone is also Founder and Director of Dramatic Momentum; a social enterprise dedicated to using innovative tools and techniques from the world of theatre and performing arts to creatively engage and equip people from underrepresented backgrounds with vital employability skills, develop their emotional capabilities and positive attitudes to education, employment and training. Dramatic Momentum’s core work focuses on developing the vital employability skills needed to be successful at work including, communication, leadership, teamwork, public speaking and presentation skills.

Previous to setting up Dramatic Momentum, Simone spent the past 15 years working as a creative educator, designing and delivering successful creative education programmes for arts and education organisations including TCW, Southwark Playhouse, The Old Vic Theatre, Lewisham Youth Theatre, Haringey Council, Chain Reaction and Freshwater Theatre.

Simone is dedicated to organisational development and inclusion and demonstrates this in the work she does as a Board Member / Trustee for three arts education charities; Chain Reaction Theatre, Diverse Voices and Purple Moon Drama CIC.

Not forgetting her roots, Simone continues to work on a freelance basis as a performing arts practitioner and theatre maker recently directing show 'Apple' at London's critically acclaimed Vault Festival (Feb 2020) and continues to work in theatre in a range of roles from being a part of the senior leadership team at Theatre Peckham to directing and devising performances for new audiences.
