Maynard Leigh worked with a successful biotechnology corporation based in San Francisco that went through an acquisition in 2009. We were asked to develop a programme which creates a stronger coaching culture. The aim was to improve the way development conversations are held and encourage more focus on realising the potential and improving performance in others.
We ran several two-day workshops on coaching and leading for high performance at their offices in Switzerland and San Francisco, for managers and senior leaders. During the workshop, the group explored tools, techniques, and methods of realising the potential in their delegates. We also spent time looking at how to develop greater insight and build more effective, productive and rewarding coaching relationships. The participants had the opportunity to practice and address specific challenges, all the while being coached by our expert course leader.
The improvements in the attendees were clearly visible over the course of the workshop to the instructor and the attendees, with strong feedback from within the organisation.
