Abi has been coaching executives for ten years and designing and leading development programmes throughout the UK and Europe for nineteen years. Her work with all managerial levels, heads of departments, directors and partners, across a range of sectors, enables her to bring sector insights and best practice to her coaching clients.
As your coach, she will create a partnership that both supports and challenges you in a safe environment. Her style is open, curious, warm, insightful and practical. She draws upon her experience of leading and managing projects, along with her background in BBC Radio as both an actor and presenter.
Abi is a transformational coach, which means that you will go beyond coaching for improvement and improving your way of thinking, to transforming your way of being and seeing in any situation. The shift in your worldview involves helping you to understand the beliefs that may be limiting you and the stories that shape those beliefs. This in turn, leads to a shift in thinking, goals and strategies that open up new possibilities for behaving.
Recent coaching assignments include helping a new head of department transition into and become more effective in their role, helping a senior HR manager deliver against increasing targets and a county council senior officer to become more effective with her team and develop greater influence when meeting council members.
Abi has worked in many major organisations both in UK and internationally. These include KPMG, EY, Credit Suisse, Barclays, Linklaters, Aviva, Chubb, The Home Office, UK Border Agency, BBC, Bearing Point, Trayport, The Arts Council England and Cancer Research UK.
